Facade on the garden

The internal façade of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga, facing the garden, before the restoration of the 1980s, was free of plaster.

It is not clear whether it was painted at the time of construction and, later, the plaster was lost due to the degradation to which the building was subject, or if it was not laid down.

Most likely, the works for the completion of the façade hoped for in 1677 by the Marchesa Castelbarco, wife of the late Odoardo Valenti Gonzaga, were never carried out.
