Offices in Mantova
Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga represents one of the most important examples of
architecture and decorations of baroque period in Mantova.
The imposing facade, attributed to Nicoḷ Sebregondi and realized in the
first half of 1600, develops in four floors and is raised over a shoe base
covered by marble worked into diamond tips.
Of special quality, also, the decorative composition of the yard, attributed
to the flemish architect Francesco Geffels.
Restoration works, started in 1981 and only just completed, have
brought this monumental building back to its ancient splendours.
